    The primary responsibility of this position is to successfully plan, develop, and grow catering and retail wine sales for multiple restaurant locations while responsible coaching and developing the catering teams and program.


    Specific Job Duties

    • Develop monthly and yearly sales goals, while ensuring top line growth and probability
    • Manage a work load that generates $1.5-3 million in annual revenue
    • Train and manage a team of catering coordinators and catering store liaisons
    • Conduct and host weekly calls and meetings with catering coordinators and store liaison
    • Benchmarks best practices within the industry and identifies areas of opportunity to increase department revenues
    • Creates and expands catering programs for both the Postino brand and independent concepts
    • Establishes department quotas to meet and exceeds budgetary revenues in catering and to-go business
    • Maximizes catering sales by offering our best selections and appropriate dishes for each event
    • Develops and implements a catering sales program to build business and gain more clients
    • Oversee the execution all catering events for each brand, while maintaining the high standards of the company in delivering amazing experiences for each guest
    • Communicating the catering needs of guests with each store location and ensuring the accuracy, coordination and collaboration of all employees involved in the process of producing, delivering, and completing the event
    • Follows-up on all leads and books caterings
    • Builds and maintains relationships with local community groups to build client base
    • Assesses the guests experience through asking for feedback and evaluation of performance
    • Maintains open professional communication with the store locations
    • Provides marketing ideas to increase the awareness of the catering program
    • Works with other providers to coordinate specific catering needs of the client
    • Develops checklists to establish the completion and accuracy of every delivery
    • Solicits feedback regarding the program from the operators and works toward providing solutions
    • Develops a group dining/private parties program for each store, to include available spaces, maximum occupancy, food/beverage offers, etc.
    • Once developed, responsible for managing this program and communicating/coordinating bookings with the stores
    • Build programs for all future locations, as they arise

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work


    Full-time position that requires a flexible schedule, office hours are 8 am to 6 pm, Mon. through Fri. In addition the job often requires travel and attendance of events outside of regular office hours.


    Experience and Education

    • The position requires a minimum of 3 year of relevant catering sales and management experience or 3-5 years of experience with similar catering functions. Internal candidates must be in good standing and free of performance issues within a 1-year time-period
    • Combined work experience and education will be considered in decisions
    • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business or an applicable field preferred
